Public bug reported:

Trying to install Ubuntu onto an USB flash drive, but it fails at the
part where it installs grub. I have the 16 Gb drive in two partitions:
sdc1 is a fat32 efi partition for the bootloader info, sdc2 for the main
install. I have tried it with only one partition, or two and it still
fails. Any ideas?

Ubuntu 12
