Public bug reported:
I installed isc-dhcp-server and started it manually.
After reboot the server didn't start.
Checking the syslog
Apr 2 07:57:18 paolo dhcpd:
Apr 2 07:57:18 paolo dhcpd: No subnet declaration for eth0 (no IPv4 addresses).
Apr 2 07:57:18 paolo dhcpd: ** Ignoring requests on eth0. If this is not what
Apr 2 07:57:18 paolo dhcpd: you want, please write a subnet declaration
Apr 2 07:57:18 paolo dhcpd: in your dhcpd.conf file for the network segment
Apr 2 07:57:18 paolo dhcpd: to which interface eth0 is attached. **
Apr 2 07:57:18 paolo dhcpd:
Apr 2 07:57:18 paolo dhcpd:
Apr 2 07:57:18 paolo dhcpd: Not configured to listen on any interfaces!
Actually etho will be 192.168.0.3, but I suppose that network-manager
hasn't activated it yet.
I suppose that upstart isc-dhcp-server entry should check interface
activation before starting the server.
