Title:
  multi monitor install bug

Status in “ubiquity” package in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
I'm trying to run a 1 April 2013 daily build kubuntu 13.04 dvd. [This
is not an april fools joke, the same problem happens with a build from
  about 2 weeks ago]

  I suspect its a multi-monitor issue.

The system has an ATI HD 7870 connected by DVI-D and an VGA monitor
connected by integrated graphics to the VGA monitor. Bios enebles
both. Windows 8 boots fine, but Kubuntu 13.04 daily build 1 April 2013
does not work fine [and same for build from about 2 weeks ago] with
both monitors connected, but works ok if VGA monitor is disconnected
  [no change in bios settings]

The bug is that if only DVI-D monitor is connected, when I choose "try
kubuntu", there is a splash screen where about 5 peripherals bounce
(hard disk, wrench, etc.), but if it is dual monitor, during the
second "peripheral" [forgot what it is], I am presented with a login
screen that asks me for some credentials that I do not have, and
regardless of what I enter, there is not error, and it goes nowhere.

I can upload screenshot if requested.

  Best regards,
