Public bug reported:
Software Updater asked me if I want to install 124 MB of "updated
software". Since I am interested in knowing more about this proposition
than merely the amout of data that will be transferred, I clicked
"Details of updates". Instead of showing me details of the updates,
Software Updater displayed a single generic heading and half of the name
of one update.
Even worse, when I click on "Technical description" to view what I hope
might finally contain details about the updates, the dysfunctionally
tiny pane shrinks even more—it now shows *no* updates—and a new pane
appears which tells me what version of something is currently installed.
Screenshots are attached.
