I debugged this to a hardware problem, so this is probably not a bug in
the software.

** Changed in: ubiquity (Ubuntu)

Title:
  Install hangs after wireless setup

Status in “ubiquity” package in Ubuntu:
  Invalid

Bug description:
After pressing continue in the wireless setup screen (whether I choose
to connect to a wireless network or not) the install hangs and I only
get a spinner that spins forever. Looking at top from a terminal I
don't see any processes taking a lot of CPU. Launching ubiquity from a
terminal I see no errors there.

Additionally, when trying to report the bug from within the live
system I get an error saying a package is not official, so I can't
  report the bug.

I'm using 12.04.1 from USB created with Pendrive Linux on Windows, and
trying to install on an EeePC 1005 PX. I've tried both choosing
Install Ubuntu from the boot menu and launching the install from
  within the live system.
