Title:
Can continue though computer names already exist

Status in “ubiquity” package in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
On the "Who am I?" screen, I could write extremely random names for my
computer, and still receive the error message in bold that the names
are taken! After filling out all the information, I could still
  continue.

In other words, the names aren't taken, but ubiquity is overreacting.
