[Bug 1056088] [NEW] software updater asking me to restart my computer, no way of closing dialog

Public bug reported:

I ran updates today on my Quantal 12.10 dev box and I got a dialogue box
that states:

"Please restart the computer to begin using your updated software."

and a restart button. There is also a minimize button at the top of the
dialogue box.

I'm filing a bug because I think we should have the option to close this
dialogue box - I either have to minimize it (and it hangs around) or
reboot my machine (which I don't want to do right away). I suspect
that getting a kernel upgrade has triggered this request to start my
computer.

We really don't have to restart the computer right away and we are
falling into a Windows like mentality here - "do your updates and
reboot". Please no, this is not a good idea. Give us users a choice
when to reboot, don't force it on us because we pulled in a kernel
update.
