(I can't reproduce this yet.)  I'm not yet sure if this is an exact dupe
of bug 1055190, but that is the same error happening from software-
properties-gtk.  It may be aptdaemon's bug.  Thanks.

  I just upgraded ubuntu to quantal and i cannot open update-manager.
  this is what i get with a terminal:
