We are currently in the process of testing Beta 2 and it would be great
if you could see if this is still the case. Thanks in advance.

Title:
Xubuntu 12.10 beta 1 install won't show any indication that the
  installation had ended.

Status in “ubiquity” package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
Made an USB boot from Xubuntu 12.10 beta1 iso and booted my pc with it. Everything went fine and I finally reached the option to choose try or install.
I choose try and click on install xubuntu 12.10 icon. Then I created two partitions, one for root and one for swap and installed xubuntu alonside windows 7. Everything went smooth, but in the end I never received any message that installation had completed, giving the feeling that it crashed.
I restarted the pc, choose Xubuntu and it seems everything is good and installed right. So it seems that the final stage of install is broken.
