I have made a script which does test for this behavior but I can't
reproduce it anymore (e2fsprogs 1.42.5-1ubuntu2).

Title:
System is mounted read-only on asynchronous write operations
Status in “e2fsprogs” package in Ubuntu:
Invalid
Bug description:
I'm using Ubuntu 12.04 dev with e2fsprogs
1.42~WIP-2011-10-16-1ubuntu1. I have made the last days some tests
with e4defrag and my filesystem was sometimes mounted read-only after
it's execution because an error occured. I have made now 2 tests with
running "e4defrag /dev/sda1" and writing some hundred of MB on the
same partition. Both times the system was mounted read-only after a
few minutes. I can't say if it was really because of the write
operations but there are some prolems with e4defrag.
