In 12.04, after I went to /etc/nscd.conf and changed
enable-cache netgroup yes
to
enable-cache netgroup no
and restarted nscd, I stopped seeing segfault messages in my syslog
file. Is this the solution? I honestly do not know, but it has worked
for me... so far. ;)
