Public bug reported:

Booting with the parameter "live video=ofonly", the installation gets
somewhere past asking for a username and password then crashes, going to
a text screen. "Oops: Exception in kernel mode, sig: 5 [#1] SMP
NR_CPUS=4 PowerMac Modules linked in: ufs qnx4 hfsplus ..."

There is no way to get to a console to recover log information. Even
the mouse is frozen over the error text.

** Affects: ubiquity (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
