  Plymouth splash screen missing; Unity menu and window decorations are

Status in “plymouth” package in Ubuntu:
  Confirmed

Bug description:
  After the today's update of Quantal Alpha, I've noticed that the
  Plymouth splash screen is missing. The bug report system (apport?)
  informed that "plymouthd crashed with SIGSEGV in
  script_obj_deref_direct()"

  Also, after the logint, the window decorations/Unity menu haven't been
  loaded.

  I'm using an HP dm1-3250br (AMD E-350) with the latest "radeon"
  driver.

  I'd be glad to help with more information if needed.
