#1) No, not as far as I can recall. I'm guessing but I think it began
to appear somewhere in the last week of August.

#2) On the 250 Gig hard drive where I was attempting the install, there
was a previous build of Lubuntu 12.10 and Ubuntu 12.04, each occupying
roughly 50% of the drive space available. What I expected was that the
installer would resize one of the partitions to free up space for the
install. Neither of the existing operating systems was using anywhere
near the space they were allotted. While both systems were installed
(taking less than 6 Gig apiece), there was nothing else on either
partition, and that should have shown as free space - I would think.

#3) Screen shot attached as requested.

I'm not sure that my existing drive configuration was a fair test of the
"Resizing" test case. The test case did state that in order to carry it
out, I needed to have another system already installed on the hard
drive. In fact however I had two operating systems installed. Not sure
if that was consistent with the setup required.

Title:
Differences between Test Case uri-001 Ubiquity Resize Install and
actual install of Lubuntu 12.10 build Sept 11 2012

Status in “ubiquity” package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
There seems to be differences between the expected results described
in the test case and what is actually presented during the install:

  1) After the screen "Preparing to install Lubuntu" a dialogue box
appears stating, "The installer has detected that the following disks
  have mounted partitions......... "

and asking whether or not these partitions should be unmounted before
continuing. Such a screen does not appear in the test case.

  2) Under "installation Type" there is no option "Allocate Drive
Space" as mentioned in the test case, the only choices available are
  a) Erase disk and install Lubuntu; b) Encrypt the new Ubuntu
installation for security c) Use LVM with the new Ubuntu
  installation; d) Something else.

There is no mention of re-sizing existing partitions to install system
XX.XX beside system YY.YY as shown in the test case.
