This bug was fixed in the package eglibc - 2.15-0ubuntu18

  Got an upgrade proposed to update libhwloc5 from 1.4.1-2 to 1.4.1-4
  but that upgrade try to uninstall all the installed packages (on quantal i386, logged as gnome-classic)
