2012.10.10 daily, baked to usb, useless- could not start. Crashes without ability to select "Try ubuntu" Option.
Got IVTV firmware failing message.

live cd is unusable due to video degradation
Status in “ubiquity” package in Ubuntu:
All images after 08/15 have become unusable, either to install from or to use a live session.
Images from 08/17 & earlier work fine as does the install itself.
Attached are 2 possible screens which seem to vary depending on which
partition grub is configured on in a multi-boot system (12.04 & 12.10
