  After upgrading Kubuntu from 10.04 to 12.04 my computer did not boot
- anaymore. Boot-Repair did not solve the problem.

+ - reinstalling GRUB did not solve the problem.
+ - a fresh install (in dualboot) of Kubuntu 10.04 works. The "upgraded-from-10.04" system still fails.
