The build number for that image was 20120908.  The image with build
number 20120910 and md5sum 8ca7dfa7190a94a4d0e4e1bab5cadd6b also
displays this issue.

Bug description:
  When attempting to do a preseeded install on phsyical hardware via
  cobbler and NFS, the quantal-desktop-i386.iso from 2012-09-08 with
  md5sum 28346e20ebcf9a1c1f25b5d1a0e92a97, I get "The installer
  encountered an unrecoverable error and will now reboot."
