Title:
  parted makes an ext3 / when i ask for an ext2 /boot

Status in “ubiquity” package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: parted

While attempting to install Jaunty Alpha 2 (amd64, desktop) on a
ThinkPad X61 Tablet with a 32GB Samsung SATA disk, parted is incapable
of creating ext2 partitions. To reproduce:

  1) Use manual partitioning
  2) Create new partition table
  3) Create new primary partition, ext2, 100MB, mounted on /boot
  4) Click OK
  5) Observe that parted has helpfully created a 100MB ext3 volume mounted on /

The expected result, of course, is an ext2 volume mounted at /boot.
