Public bug reported:
Hi all.
I know that this type of "Could not calculate the upgrade" error has
been reported before, but I have tried all solutions I could find in the
old bug reports and on the forums, but to no avail. I am trying to go
from 11.04 to 11.10 (with the final intent of bringing my system up to
12.04), but continually receive that error message while trying to do-
release-upgrade. I am following proper upgrade protocol (I've updated
all packages, fixed broken dependencies, and cleaned up my file system).
I tried the solution mentioned here
(http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1859338), but that doesn't
work. I also purged my PPA's using PPA-purge, but that doesn't seem to
help either.
I'm attaching apt.log, and will attach main.log in a follow-up post.
Any help/ideas will be greatly appreciated!
