Title:
migration-assistant unable to unmount target
-"/usr/lib/ubiquity/ubiquity/install_misc.py", line 260, in start
Status in “ubiquity” package in Ubuntu:
Confirmed
Bug description:
While installing Quantal 12.10 on my iMac, overwriting Precise 12.04 on partition sda7, I got migration-assistant telling me that it couldn't unmount sda7. Using a terminal I saw that sda7 was mounted on /target, presumably used by the installer.
I could have unmounted manually, but I decided to continue installing despite possibly losing existing files on 12.04.
