I'm not sure what dpkg is trying to tell us here, but that might be a
Multi-Arch bug?

That happended after upgrading to Ubuntu 12.10 through changing
repositories from precise to quantal and apt-get update and apt-get
dist-upgrade and then apt-get -f dist-upgrade.
