Title:
casper in initrd dies trying to find filesystem.squashfs on raid
device
Status in “casper” package in Ubuntu:
New
Bug description:
We've made our own LiveCDs and also used the Ubuntu 12.04 ISO to USB
trick with unetbootin and they both fail to find the
filesystem.squashfs when there is an existing raid array on the
system. The end result is that it dumps you to initramfs.
I've attached the casper.log file for the broken (default)
initrd.img-3.2.0-30-generic . There is also a patch to 'fix' the
problem and another 'working' log file.
