Title:
Install RELEASE visible in the title bar. Missing API call to set
unity menubar name‽
Status in “ubiquity” package in Ubuntu:
Incomplete
Bug description:
* Launch Ubuntu Desktop CD
* Choose Try Ubuntu
* Start Installer
* Notice that the top left unity bar says "Install RELEASE"
I believe this is taken from the .desktop file, 'Name' field which has
an explicit comment not to translate that string.
Why this is nice and everything, there really should be a call into
Gtk? Bamf? Unity? Compiz? to substitue that string and set it to
something sensible e.g. "Install Ubuntu 12.10" (it can also be
Xubuntu, Edubuntu, Lubuntu, etc depending on which ISO it is)
Please point me to the right api to do this.
