Title:
release upgrader asks to remove the last known working kernel
Status in “ubuntu-release-upgrader” package in Ubuntu:
Triaged
Bug description:
IMHO, the current working kernel shouldn't be offered to be removed by
the release upgrader. Even though it's no longer available in the
repos, the person upgrading will have no recourse if the new kernel
doesn't work on their hardware.
