Title:
  The creation of swap space in usb partition failed message during
  amd64+mac installation

Status in “ubiquity” package in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
  The creation of swap space in partition 6 of SCSI3(0,0,0) (sdb) failed
  message was displayed during amd 64 quantal desktop installation. sdb
  represents usb in this system

  1. Boot using usb live session on a machine where there is already a quantal installation
  2. Start the installer from the live session
  3. Perform the side by side installation.
  4. The aboe message box will be displayed (screen shot is also attached)

  This occurs on the first installation after creating the usb using dd
  from an i386 precise system.
