  plasma-desktop crashes with SIGFAULT on boot

Status in “casper” package in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
  I'm testing Quantal Beta 1. The build 20120904 for Kubuntu is not usable as live system.
  plasma-desktop crashes on boot leaving you with a black screen where the only visible window is the apport one suggesting you to report a bug against plasma-desktop. Unfortunately, it didn't work at all. I tried ubuntu-bug from another tty and I'm attaching the output (but it seems to be only a list of packages).

  Let me know if I can provide you more detail. I'm filing the bug
  against casper as it was found on a live session.
