** Changed in: ubiquity (Ubuntu)
Importance: Undecided => High
** Description changed:
Quantal Desktop 20120903.4
During an attempt of an installation in French, I choose 'encrypt
Ubuntu', the 'Choose a security key' screen only showed the text at the
top of the page. The form below was hidden (fields and text) , making
the installation impossible to continue.
I got this case once and haven't found a way to reproduce it yet.
Screenshot attached.
+
+ Steps to reproduce:
+ 1. Something Else
+ 2. Open one of "Edit Partition" or "Add Partition" dialogs
+ 3. Go way back to the ask page
+ 4. Select Encrypt & wipe/install options
+ 5. Result as per screenshot
+
+ This is due to trying to hide crypto UI in the manual partitioning.
+ Workaround is to restart ubiquity.
