As seen in screen here it was working on july 17

Should either of these 2 commands return something?
ubuntu-drivers devices
ubuntu-drivers list
Presently nothing is returned, I thought previously something was (again going back to that thread on mid july

  To see (at least with nvidia hardware
  open software-properties-gtk, the  Additional Drivers window is Always empty whether using nouveau or nvidia-current
