This bug was fixed in the package rpm - 4.10.1-2

  * Do not overwrite installed manpages by (wrong) symlinks 
    (Closes: #691342, LP: #1018372).
  * Correctly pass dpkg-buildflags LDFLAGS.

  man rpmsign shows man page for rpm utility, but rpmsign do have own
  command line keys and options which is not described in 'man rpm'.
