  Screen turns off after grub (full disk encryption)

Status in “plymouth” package in Ubuntu:
  Confirmed

Bug description:
  The screen turns off after booting Ubuntu.
  Pressing escape once turns the screen back on and shows a command link LUKS password prompt.
  Pressing escape again shows the graphical boot screen without any issues.

  May be a duplicate of  bug #1030094
