Mhh,the procedure for 3.7 seems to have changed bit.

Anyway,

copy all 3 files you need (headers, image , and image extra) in one
separated folder (e.g kernel37 -> create this)

open up a terminal and swith in the kernel37 folder with the cd command

cd kernel37

than run in this folder:

sudo dpkg -i *.deb


The * indicates not a substitution it is a regular expression instead, which tells the dpkg command to install all files in the folder that ends with .deb

When you run this, dpkg should organise the installation in a way where
no missing dependences occure(when you have downloaded all needed
files).

Bug description:
  Putting special boot parameter:
  live video=radeonfb:1440x900-32 at 60

  (sorry i don't have the at sign on my computer because of the not
  finished installation) i succeed in getting correct screen display.
  Then, i start the installer (ubiquity) which apparantly works fine but
  then hangs on a point called 'Hardware Erkennung' (something like
  'Checking hardware' - after an installation of a basic file system).

  This happened today with the daily built 20121017 as well with a daily
  built of 3 days ago.
