in fact the problem seems to be known for intel smart response
technology.
dmraid try to mount it as raid and "shit on himself". once uninstaller
evrything works. the solution would be to replace dmraid by mdadm.

Title:
No partition listed in ubiquity (HP Envy 4 1062sf)
Status in “ubiquity” package in Ubuntu:
New
Bug description:
I tryed today's release [11/10/2012] and 12.10 beta 2 both in AMD64
arch.
Both showed me empty frame where should have been the list of partition and free space.
Gparted allow me to manage all partitions and make my logical volume with swap, and 2 ext4 partitions but nothing in ubitquity.
It crashed on "change" and on "+" buttons but bug reporter didn't oppened firefox.
For more info tell me how to give it...
Note, I don't know if it's linked but there is some intel smart
response technology partition bundled with the Windows default
operating system.
As I gave a bunch of new data I put back "new" status
