Also after trying to hide the details by clicking the details expander
again the window remains too large for the display thereby making it
hard to click any buttons.

  [Dist-upgrader] Window too big in 800x600

Status in “update-manager” package in Ubuntu:

Bug description:
  When using the new version of update-manager to upgrade Breezy to
  Dapper Beta the update-manager gives you the choice of opening a
  terminal. If you run X in 800x600 you cannot see the last 1/3 of the
  dialog because it is outside of the visible area. This, imho, should
  be considered a bug since you are not able to scale the size of the
  dialog and should the user be requested for input the said user has no
  way of knowing this yet even be able to see the possible input. This
  could break the installation procedure.

  I will render it a very serious bug because a some point during the
  installation process the dialog automatically opens the terminal with
  no option of restoring to dialog mode.
