This bug report appears to be similar to Ubuntu Launchpad Bug #375095 -
Crashed twice, once when hitting 'Cancel' another when I hit undo.

The problem with a crash when pressing ESC in a dialog window with number spin buttons was confirmed in the following upstream bug report.
