Status in “update-manager” package in Ubuntu:
  Confirmed

Bug description:
  When I ran update-manager -d, clicked upgrade and then upgrade once
  more update-manager crashed.

  The problem was line 384 of utils.py:

  d.window.set_functions(Gdk.FUNC_MOVE)

  It seems like this may not be necessary or may not do anything:

  http://www.gtk.org/api/2.6/gdk/gdk-Windows.html#gdk-window-set-
  functions

  I commented it out and the error displayed properly.
