Looking at your UbiquitySyslog file it seems likely that there is an
issue with the filesystem on the media you were installing from:

Nov  9 09:25:33 ubuntu kernel: [   23.014187] EXT2-fs (loop1): warning: mounting unchecked fs, running e2fsck is recommended
Nov  9 09:25:33 ubuntu kernel: [   28.366462] EXT2-fs (loop1): error: ext2_lookup: deleted inode referenced: 458359

There are also repeated ext2_lookup errors throughout the log.  Could
you please try recreating your installation medai and installing again?
