I can't reproduce anymore in vim 2:7.3.547-4ubuntu1.1. I'll close this
for now.

  1. Open vim (whether in gnome-terminal or gvim)
  2. Enter text
  3. 'v' to enter visual mode
  4. Press 'd'
  5. Crash with SEGV

  I use vim frequently, this bug seems recent. Maybe the last update did this.
