Hi py, its very difficult to debug an issue like this without two
important things:

1) a core dump from the segfault. If you attach that, please mark the
bug private first (so that nobody can read the contents of your RAM).

2) log files for smbd surrounding the event.

Without those, we won't be able to do much here.

Bug description:
  hello

  i get these from time to time via webmin's mails :
  it is on my home server ( old machine : asus a7n8x athlon 2000)
  ubuntu 12.04 
  nothing special .
  this config was updated from 10.04 but  had the same problem before

  i am quite new to these things
  are these infos sufficient?
