Sorry, but whatever problem you experienced has nothing to do with the
watershed package.  watershed doesn't make any changes to
/usr/share/doc.

Also, you filed this bug against the cryptsetup package, not against the
watershed package.  It's not clear why?

Bug description:
  Installing "watershed" (amd64) with aptitude resulted in complete
  destruction of /usr/share/doc without any warning on my box, running
  "Lucid Lynx 10.4".

  May someone be nice enaugh for confirming.
