Public bug reported:

Ubuntu 12.10 shipped with a consolidated CD.   Installation guide needs
to be updated to reflect this distribution information.

All references to "Alternate CD" need to be updated and procedures
checked out to make sure still applicable advice for new combined
desktop image.

Last Alternate CD went out with 12.04 (part of LTS image set).
