Title:
  update-manager doesn't mark new packages as auto-installed

Status in “update-manager” package in Ubuntu:
  Confirmed

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: update-manager

update-manager wrote near some packages "New Install". These packages
are always dependent on other ones. So why would not mark them as
automatically installed so they were removed along with the packages
  upon which they depend?
