I've tried it again using VB 4.2.4 and the crash happened too. But it
this case, the "Collecting problem information" never finished (I've
wait about one hour) and I was unable to complete the "bug report" with
all of the attachments.

For me this is a very low priority. I've sucessfully installed the 32
bits Desktop version without this issue.

  I was just doing a fresh install of Ubuntu Desktop 64 bits 12.04 on VirtualBox 4.2.2 on Windows 7 64 bits.
  Hope the logs files helps the dev team.
