Causing problems for me and many other people right now. These fresh
installations of 12.10 x64 are garbage I'm sorry to say, unusable at
this time.

Bug description:
System did not crash. Bug reporter popped up, so I am reporting. Other
reports were for 10.04, not 11.10 beta. hope this helps.
