[Bug 1074390] [NEW] Not clear that Internet connection has worked

Public bug reported:

Ubuntu 12.10

In usability testing, two of three participants were uncertain that
their chosen wi-fi connection had actually connected.

For example, P3: “It should provide a message for the Internet, as I’m
not sure whether I managed to connect to it or not.”

Probably we should add some visible confirmation that you really are
connected to the Internet.

** Affects: ubiquity (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
