You've reported this as a bug against the resolvconf package, but there

your description of the problem, it's likely that you were notified of a

  1 zurück

Status in “resolvconf” package in Ubuntu:

Bug description:
During an upgrade from Oneiric Ocelot to Precise Pangolin there was a freeze, i.e. the screensaver was frozen and the keyboard didn't work.
I choosed to turn off the Laptop the hard way (= holding the power button) and to chroot the system via a Lubuntu Precise Live CD.
It took me some days to bringt the Laptop back to run properly.

After logging out there was a popup, that I have to run with low
  graphic properties.

  Now it seems to work.

You can find more detail information here
(http://forum.ubuntuusers.de/post/4423342/ at least the code blocks
  and pastes are in English).

  Sincerely, André
