There is a bit more to the message than in the description of this bug:

update-initramfs: Generating /boot/initrd.img-3.4.0-2-generic

Fatal: open /boot/vmlinuz-3.3.0-6.dmz.1-liquorix-amd64: No such file or directory

I believe this is a configuration issue with your system as that vmlinuz
file is not one provided by Ubuntu.
