Title:
ubuntu 10.10 Grub gives message error: out of disk

Status in “grub2” package in Ubuntu:
  Invalid

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: grub2

On every cold boot, grub2 gives "out of disk" error and loads rescue
console. But after restart it works as expected.

I'm having same problem on my computer since i've installed a new
harddisk then a clean install. There is no problem with my old Sata II
seagate 120G hdd but I'm experiencing this problem with my 320G & 1TB
  Seagate SataII hdds.

Also when i tried report bug ubuntu-bug grub2, report tool showed
grub2 - not installed but i was using it, then i used apt-get install
grub2, now it is activated again but problem does not fixed.
