  newgrp password enabled group doesn't work

Status in “shadow” package in Ubuntu:
  Fix Released

Bug description:
  Trying to login to a password enabled group, not being a member of it,
  fails on lucid.

  Steps:

  user at localhost:~$ sudo addgroup test
  Adding group `test' (GID 1001) ...
  Done.
  user at localhost:~$ sudo gpasswd test
  Changing the password for group test
  New Password: ****
  Re-enter new password: ****
  user at localhost:~$ 

  At this point, the group is created and password is set on /etc/gshadow
  The following steps success on hardy, fails on lucid:

  user at localhost:~$ newgrp test
  Password: ****
  Invalid password.
  user at localhost:~$
