  I am using Ubuntu 12.04.  My update manager shows System-V-like utilities in Other updates(Ubuntu).  It also says the update has already been downloaded, but not installed. when I click the install updates, it started to install and at the middle of the install it failed and showed the error massage, Package operation failed.
